P.R.O. Kids is a program that is run by the Western Valley Recreational Association (www.wvra.ca). Their goal is to provide assistance to as many children and youth (18 & Under) as possible, who, due to lack of funds, are unable to participate in sport, art, recreational or cultural activities.
P.R.O. Kids’ vision is that all children residing in the Western Valley Recreation Association area (Nackawic to Plaster Rock) have the opportunity to participate in recreation activities that boost their self esteem and promote their healthy growth through the learning of new skills, increased knowledge and personal development.
McConnell Transport has made a donation to the Western Valley Recreation Association’s P.R.O. Kids program with money raised from our staff’s “Jeans Day Friday” fundraiser. In this photo, Jeremy Vail (right), a minor hockey coach and representing McConnell Transport, presents the donation to WVRA Representative Kent Kuhn.
